The American Dental Hygienists’ Association has arrived at a statistic which states that cavity rates have reduced tooth decay by 60% since water fluoridation became common.

A2. FALSE – Fluorosis is not a terribly common occurrence but it has nothing to do with allergies. The cause of fluorosis is high doses of fluoride ingested by children. This causes discoloration and patchy white spots on their newly developing teeth. If you keep fluoride infused oral hygiene products in your house, you should make sure they are out of reach of curious young children.
