Creating Custom Clear Aligners
To create your custom orthodontics, our team will examine your smile and take detailed images of your bite from multiple angles using a tiny digital camera at the end of a thin wand. We then combine these images to create a 3D model of your bite, a digital impression far more accurately than a traditional physical one. In a lab setting, experts will use the impressions and images we take to design and craft a series of aligners from a BPA-free plastic material, each one tailored made especially for your smile. When they are ready, you can start the Invisalign® treatment process.
Treating Your Uneven Smile
You will wear the aligners in order, each set being worn for about 20 to 23 hours a day over a period of about two weeks. You then continue the process, wearing each one and watching as your smile is gradually and gently corrected. For some of our patients, optimal results are possible in as little as a year. They can be removed before meals, so you don’t have to alter your diet. This removability also means an easier time brushing and flossing your teeth.
