When you come in for periodic visits, we then adjust tension in the wire to help shift the teeth into proper position. The jawbone needs to then reform around the new positions of the teeth, keeping your smile in place. The total treatment time could take about two years on average. With this option, we use different materials to create the brackets and wires, which means your orthodontics are less visible.
