The Difference Our Pro-Form Solution Offers
Instead of the boil-and-bite process, we will use advanced digital imaging to take pictures of the smile from multiple angles, which can be done quickly and comfortably with an intraoral camera. We then combined these images to create a 3D model, one that allows us to plan and design your new oral appliance, so it is custom-made and fitted for your bite. Each one is created from two layers of a strong laminated vinyl material, and includes a lingual plate that will sit just behind your incisors. This helps distribute pressure and protects the teeth, and the laminating process ensures the device maintains its shape even after being used multiple times.
The custom mouthguard can help lower the risk of a chipped, cracked, or broken tooth. This helps prevent teeth from being partially or fully avulsed (knocked-out) and also limits injuries to the gums and cheeks. This can help fight the risk of a concussion, and protects the jaw from injury too. This is also helpful if your kids have orthodontics too! Your kids can also choose their favorite color, so it can be customized.
